Predicted utility bills - HELP!!! Dreaded Form E.

I'm moving with ds to a 2 bed flat in London and am trying to estimate what my utility bills are going to be for my divorce documents.

Gas - heating only
Electricity - all the normal stuff, washing machine, computer, tumble drier, tv, dvd, microwave, oven and hob.

I have no idea what these are likely to be. Money is going to be hideously tight... I don't want to underestimate but need to be realistic. Flat is in a terraced house - its is rented so most of the stuff is already there but I don't plan on using the tumble drier much!

Thanks so much.

If you enter your new postcode in here and say you don't know what your current bills are, it lets you choose size / usage etc and will tell you a typical spend.

Might be worth finding a few different ones, and see which lets you describe your situation best. I've got one on my utality account that asks number of people, number of rooms, age of building, to predict, but you need to be with my supplier to get access!

what did you pay before? That will certainly help with the electricity element.

Previous house was a 5 bed so not that helpful really... far more stuff in.

My DD in two bed London flat was £60 gas per month and £40 electric I think but gas was for hot water also. Unless you have very draughty place with high ceilings etc that should cover it. Although I also just read in the paper today that fuel is going up yet again....(btw those DD figures always left me a bit in credit)

totally depends on what the boiler is like and if it works properly. we pay up to 200 PCM gas and elec in a 2 bed terrace. ridiculous
