Any idea what happens about NI contributions when a SAHM is no longer entitled to claim Child Benefit because of husband's earnings?

Claiming the benefit and repaying through husband's tax has been advised against.

Am worried about provision of future state pension (should there still be such a thing!)

You can opt not to receive payment but still get NI credits
