Housing benefit confusion?

After a spell unemployed, my DH now has a job (albeit part time). We weren't getting housing benefit because we went over the new benefits cap but the Jobcentre told hubby they would start paying housing benefit now that he qualifies for working tax credit. The thing is, how much are they going to pay? The Jobcentre were telling him it was the full amount but I'm not sure they are right?

There is a calculate on the Gov.uk webisite that will let you enter the details of earnings and outgoings and other information and give you estimates of what you are entitled to.
