I have received a letter today titled the above from the land register.
There is a court hearing on 31st July it is for an unpaid ccj.

Our house is under offer and we hope to complete in 6 weeks.

Please help as I am shaking like a leaf!

I presume it will be that they take the balance of the ccj upon the sale of the house. It shoukdnt stop you actually selling it.

It essentially means you can't dispose of the asset until the restriction has been complied with. If its a debt, then it almost certainly means they are requiring you to pay the debt with the proceeds of sale (and your solicitor will need to make sure you do). It shouldn't stop the sale, but tell your solicitor.
