Can I return these without receipt?

I bought pjs for ds2 about a month ago.
They have since shrunk to the size of a child about 2 years younger.
I bought same for ds1 and his are fine

Can I ask for a refund

Depends on the retailer IME...ASDA, Tesco, Next for example I never have any problems with refunds/exchanges...

yes you don't need a receipt for faulty goods. if they are still for sale they will compare them to see if they have shrunk...

Make sure you tell them you followed the care instructions - they should agree they are not fit for purpose.

Buy some more and take the shrunken ones back with the new receipt perhaps?
If the others are fine, you may have a faulty batch perhaps.
