I had just parked my car on a fairly busy and narrow road. MIL was in the back on the passenger side. Just as she was opening her door a car whizzed by, we heard a loud noise it turned out that my car door had hit the wing mirror of this passing car. I swapped names addresses and phone numbers with the other driver. Stupidly I didn't get car/licence details. Dh, who was home at the time, said I must contact the insurance company. Is there anything else I should do that anyone can think of? Should I call this other driver to get her car details or wait till she gets back with a quote for her mirror.
