Just looked on my online banking and have discovered that Tescos have charged me twice for food bill last week! I was owed 25p as I had a substitute, which was less than what I paid. Have spoken to a lady who was adamant that was from a payment last week, which isn?t! it clearly says 01/06 twice and has the same ref number! Just waiting for a call back from her hopefully telling me I will get my money back! Think that will be the last time I order the food online! Anyone else had issues with this?

Yes. It's why I don't order online any more. I also had ASDA do something similar - they took the payment twice, but one of them was 'held back', so my money was floating around the Internet or something for 10 working days.

Yes I got that money back, but I had to get a payday loan with massive interest in the meantime.

So, I no longer do my food shopping online!

What a nightmare! I?ve got to wait 3-5 working days to get this back, but I could really do with the money now! :( In future I wont be as lazy and go to the shop next time lol

Ask for the interest etc back from Tescos - they are usually very happy to rectify any mistake they have made

Do people pay by some funny system for this to happen??

I just use a CC and have never in 12 years internet food shopping with them had a single payment problem.

I?ve never heard of anyone having a problem before, guess I was just unlucky! its made me worry to shop online again though, but what bad luck that would be if it happened again!
