Has anyone been given offer in principal for you then to be declined the official offer,to then win an appeal based on clarifying some errors on credit report? Please tell me your (happy ending) stories
Before I take a very long walk off a very short pier....Hmm

I used to work as a mortgage adviser and yes, I've seen people appeal a declined mortgage and win the appeal - I've also seen them still declined. Depends entirely on the reasons and on the evidence you have got. If there is a genuine error on the credit file and you can evidence it or get the issuing company to correct it then you will be fine :)
