Maybe a silly question, but some advice would be great please. When i was 18 i joined my employers stakeholder pension scheme into which I paid £50 per month, the scheme was with aviva (formerly norwich union) I have since left and been working for the NHS for 10 years and paying into the NHS pension scheme.

Is it possible to cash in the stakeholder pension? Don?t think there is much in there about £1000 I think or is possible to transfer it into my NHS pension?

I think the options are to leave it where it is and cash it in at maturity or transfer to another private scheme. Not sure about public sector schemes but it's worth asking your payroll team.
