Hi all,

Dd has a junior isa with nationwide. I've heard once money has been put in it cannot be withdrawn until she is 18.
Is this true? As I want to withdraw it and move it elsewhere as rushed into opening her that. Blush

You can transfer it but cannot withdraw the money.

Surely there must be a get out clause somehow?
Can't believe I was so dim.

So theoretically could I transfer it to another bank then withdraw for her?

No, you can transfer it to another Junior ISA but it cannot be withdrawn from any bank until she is 18.
