we did not get the school we wanted - catholic, oversubscribed. how likely is it for one pupil resigning/ moving etc? we are in London. just thinking whether people experienced movement in class throughoutt primary years. thank you.

At the moment the school probably won't have a confirmed list of who is starting - all they will have done is made offers to the 90 children who are highest ranked on their admissions procedure. The next stage is for the parents to confirm that they do want their child to start and there is a high chance that out of 90 children a few will not want the place, have moved out of the area etc.

Do you know what number you are on the waiting list? If not, go into school and ask, they should tell you.
