Does anyone know how long you have to be in hospital before benefits are stopped, particularly ILF and DLA?

DLA is 28 days, I'm not sure about ILF sorry.

Thanks anyway, I've looked on line but can only see it has to be reported but not when etc.

Just had a look on gov.uk for you, it says changed need to be reported immediately for ILF, see HERE
