A family member has signed a contract which they now want to cancel, they signed yesterday and handed over a cheque. They have stopped the cheque but on the contract it states about it cancelled there will be admin charges etc but I always understood that wether stated or not your entitled to a 7 day cooling off period? Is this true?

thanks :)

I've been looking on internet and dont think they are entitled to 7 day cooling off... lets just hope they dont have to pay to high charges. Its only a couple of days old its for a new bathroom bless them. It says on the form that charges are applicable for adminsitration, survey and manufacturing. Surely a company cant say by 2moro they are liable for these charges as nothing at would have gone ahead yet? Its just they are gettng on and cant afford to loose the money? It also mentions a dishonured cheque will cost £50 but if they tell them then they surely cant bank it and it be rejected and them get charged?

I hope they sort this out, I think DP will call the company 2moro
