PPI question

I've had a quick look at my old credit card/mortgage statements (there's quite a few!!!!) none of them seem to say anything about PPI. Does that mean I didn't take it out?

Probably. I'm also someone that never took anyone up on it. However, doesn't stop me getting phonecalls from unscrupulous types offering to help me with my claim...

Give them a ring and ask. Sometimes you paid the premiums separately from your current account. By law they must give you the info you require

If I wrote to them and asked 'did I have ppi' are they obliged to tell me if I did or not?
