Mortgage renewal

Wondering whether anyone knows of a good bank/bs to recommend. With Halifax at moment but looking to move.

I'd recommend getting hold of an independent mortgage adviser to help you decide. The last few times I've remortgaged my house, they've been very helpful & there have been no direct fees for their services. You need to work out which product you're looking for - things like fixed vs variable rate, administration charges, penalties for early redemption, over-payment possibilities etc. I've been with C&G on a fixed rate deal for the last 4+ years and had no problems.

C&G are same group as Halifax (LBG), and will be sold off to The Co-Op.
