Its been 7 weeks now since dh first put in a claim and went along to his first interview. Told to return the following week and each 2nd week to sign on.
Council Tax lady phones to tell us that she still hasn't received my wage slips as requested which were photocopied and supposedly faxed 4 weeks ago. Woman who did that appointment denies having even dealt with dh.
So all we have coming in is the child benefit and £30 wages at the end of September. Because they haven't processed his claim, we're stuck at not being able to claim anything else.
Can we complain? Looks like we'll be begging both sets of parents to help us pay the mortgage again
