Hi. Im looking into claiming back ppi, but can't remember the name of the loan company. All I can remember is that it had a little blue car appearing when people didn't know where to go for a loan. It was about 8-9 years ago......

Isn't there a time limit to claims??

Sexyfothermucker · 28/08/2012 19:14

Not sure. It's all a bit baffling to be honest Confused some say there is, others say not.

Borrowed from the BBC: "There are time limits which apply to making a complaint.

You generally need to raise a complaint within six years of being sold the policy or within three years of realising there was a problem with the sale of the policy.

The majority of people who are currently complaining about PPI are 'in time' as they did not know there was a problem with it until recently.

However, it is worth bearing in mind that if the policy was sold a long time ago there may not be any record of the policy at all - with neither you or the business having any evidence or proof either way. "

It may be a good idea to ask on the money saving expert web site. Smile Have you tried Google images? Just type in what you're looking for.
