Child benefit stopped

I have been a bit of an idiot and only just checked my joint acc with dh. Dd's child benefit has not been paid since Sept 2011.

Not sure why, I informed them of my change of address in May 2011 and they haven't been in touch since. Does anyone know if they will backdate the payments back to Sept?

You'll need to contact HMRC.

I know choco. I will tomorrow. I just wondered if anyone knew about the backdating.

The backdating thing seems to be a bit confused.

for new babies, they backdate 3 months; not sure about continuation of payments
