Having trouble getting mortgage offer quickly (tho we're confident we'll get it)and don't want to put seller off. We might be able to exchange contracts if we were able to get a quick bridge loan offer ( we may not have to use it but at least we could contract on purchase knowing that funds will be in hand).
(BTW - what's the quickest time do you think you should be able to get an offer from start of application?)
