The situation: 4 girls - all married, 2 working, 2 not. All give an annual sum to mother to support her pension. One girl recently separated, has kids, not working and it's her time to donate to the granny. What should the other 3 do?

  1. Other non working one of them quietly cough up the cash and keep quiet about it.
  2. As 1 except tell the separated one what she's done (so separated one not worrying - although separated one may not have rememebered anyway)
3 Someone speak to the other 2 and re-organise finances - not speaking to separated one.
  1. As 3 but tell separated one.
  2. Ask the usually reasonable, but often tight-fisted almost ex-hubby of the separated hubby to cough up?

Well why don't they all talk to each other and rearrange finances. I don't think it's very fair not to tell the one who has just separated. She is having her own issues to deal with at the momment she may be in a better position next year.
