If you are RENEWING INSURANCE for your house or car............

Phone up several companies and give exactly same details and then go back to the one your are with atm and tell them

BUT if they say they can't match it

RING OFF

THEN ring them again to speak to different person

using an 0800 number

We have just done that and so am saving over £120

And the details are exactly the same as before

inc FREE new windscreen which the others are quoting £60 to replace

We have a stonechip and so need a new one and we will get it FREE

We did this for our car insurance - used confused.com. Found cheapest quote, phoned our insurance company and they matched it - hurrah, we saved £60 and they gave us 12 months as opposed to 10 months, which we had before.
