Sorry to hear this. Can you not go back to the job centre and get an emergency payment? You were given some great advice on the Credit Crunch thread.

lovemylittleman · 08/06/2012 11:38

apparantly im not entitled to one because when i was on benefits i had 3 in 12 months previous to my job thats only up on the 18th of this month so cant get one of them at the moment .

ElizabethSwann · 08/06/2012 11:39

Hi Natilee - definitely a Crisis Loan is the way forward while you are waiting for IS to be sorted. They will give you an emergency payment for living expenses.

lovemylittleman · 08/06/2012 11:41

i have asked them this morning the lady sent the 12 month perios is up on the 18th although they keep changing the dates going to ring them back again in a moment see what they say

Portofino · 08/06/2012 11:43

Your friend helped you out last time - could you ask her again?

OhNoMyFanjo · 08/06/2012 11:46

I'm confusd, op have you namechanged?

lovemylittleman · 08/06/2012 11:48

no unfortunately not shes been helping me a lot lately why ive been waiting for my money and she cant do it anymore she has her own children and has helped me a lot i wouldnt expect her to i just needed to vent im going to ring crisis loans back in a minute see if they can help me out until im sorted x

lovemylittleman · 08/06/2012 11:48

Have you been to CAB re. your wages - you need to be on the list of creditors if they are going under . CB is normally paid to mother/carer regardless of who is earning, so do chase it up as payments should get backdated. Does your p work and contribute financially ?

lovemylittleman · 08/06/2012 12:03

no its only happened this morning where theyve saids they no longer require me if they can help with that though will make an appointment with them
my partner walked out on me a few months ago so he is now x partner havent seen him since and currently csa are tracking him down to no avail
i will ring up again about cben because ive not had it since he left but i did try and sort a new claim out not sure if they carried on putting it in to his bank but that should have stopped now will ring up today .just on hold with the crisis loan people x

With £4.60 go to your nearest supermarket and stock up on as much cheap-value range bread, beans and frozen meat for you and your little one. It will keep you going for while you get this sorted.

amillionyears · 08/06/2012 14:39

You could also try going to the local vicar. The church should have something in place to deal with this type of emergency situation.

LIZS · 08/06/2012 15:09

Also try Salvation Army, Welcare, WRVS etc and Childrens Centre or HV could direct you to other local charities

DiddyMary · 09/06/2012 00:43

See if there's a church in your area listed here www.acts435.org.uk/ask-for-help/
They might be able to help.

tried sitting in ur office and refusing to move?? if the company is still open.

its amazing how quickly a few twenty pound notes will appear.
it wont be ur salary but u are unlikely to get that back.

a friend once sat on her bosses doorstep, the wife gave her money because she was soooo embarassed! (they were 'going under' in a 'we still have the bmw way!!')
