without any warning Shock

Am now overdrawn. Was saving money up every month - didn't get bonus this year which I had been planning to use to pay it.

I don't even know how they got my details - i paid the deposit by debit card. Are they allowed to do this?

Do you remember signing anything when you booked? The small print may have said that the full balance will be deducted on the due date without you needing to do any more?

Was it due today? What company is it?

I don't remember signing anything at all. it was all done online. It's Hoseasons so I would have thought they were reasonably above board. I was expecting to pay the balance 6 weeks before the holiday - ie early July - I'd just about have the money saved up by then.

I don't have our booking ref - it's at home on the email we received from them. But I'll get it tonight and then contact them.

Hoseasons take balances 8 weeks before iirc. Not sure if they just take it automatically if not already paid by then.

You could probably phone up without booking ref, all they should need is postcode and holiday date to find your booking. Hope you get it sorted out soon.
