I'm in the process of leaving dp and moving in with a family member please can anyone tell me roughly how much income support is.

Do i get to keep my child tax credit ?
will i get housing benefit for living with a family member?

Income support is roughly £56 a week and then you get child tax credit for any children.

If yo are living with a relative then no I don't think you will get Housing benefit.

TBH i am not entirely sure as I haven't done that bit yet, am intending on ringing them tommorow.

I think they are supposed to just adjust your payments to whatever and stop your WTC but wether it would go that smoothly in practice, i cannot say.

Hope so though.
