We have been renting a house for about 5 weeks. When we first moved in we filled out the condition report and requested some repairs (in writing), but the agent keeps telling us they can't get in touch with the owner and we just have to wait. BUT the toilet is dripping water out onto the porch, so we have a sheet of ice outside the front door in the morning. I'm 8 1/2 months pregnant and its SO dangerous...what can we do? Is there a group that advises tenants? We are new to the country and don't know what to do or what rights tenants have here.
