I have a bank account in Euros (overseas) with a substantial amount of money recently paid into it.
The euro/gbp rate is atrocious at the moment, shall I cut my losses and transfer to gbp as soon as possible? Or is it likely that the euro will somehow pick itself up in the months to come?
I know no one can predict the future! but interested in ideas please.

If you look at the graph for the last six months the trend is definitely going all one way. No-one has a crystal ball but, given that the GBP/? rate used to be nearer ?1.40 than ?1.20, and given that there is another Greek election on the horizon when they may possibly decide to throw the baby out with the bathwater, if I was in your shoes I would probably cut at least some of my losses.

Hi Cogito:
I have been looking at the dreaded curve for the past week and suffering!
So annoyed that I didn't get this money sooner.
