Worth checking if you have extended liability with your home insurance as this can cover personal items like phones outside the home.

My house insurance covers it

My home insurance covers it, although I think the excess maybe quite high, although I guess not as high as a new blackberry.

My personal effects on home contents covers it

Did u cover it through your bank account, and forgot about it? U would have to have registered the blackberry, but if you pay for your bank account there's a good chance it is covered. Otherwise, I'd be contacting my phone provider and explaining the situation, and see if you can convince them to sell you a replacement cheaper if you take insurance on it! No guarantees, but I managed to do that a few about 10 years ago Smile

rock, dont get what you mean about the bank account? Its a pay monthly deal, the blackberry came free with it and I pay so much per month for x minutes x texts etc etc

will phone them again tomorrow

If you've got a packaged bank account (usuall £12ish a month) they usually include phone insurance. Smile
