been 3 weeks and 2days since i bought a 200pound camera at jessups and still no sign of it on my account. never had more than a week maximum, usually 3 days before monies are taken. was christmas money and just wish they'd get on with taking it so i can keep an accurate eye on where i stand financially. anyone had a similar time delay? how long can i expect to wait?!

Think it ought to have gone through by now, especially from a firm as big as Jessops. If I were you, I'd give them a ring.

having run my own business we were advised we could put through a switch payment upto 6 months after the purchase..........seems a long time but we checked and were assured this was right.

once we had been for a meal at Deep Pan Pizza and it took them three months to debit it from our account.

if i were you i'd get in touch with them and ask them what's going on.

thankyou i will contact them. just loathe to deal with the bank at the moment as they have been mean to me recently! moschops why would a company take so long, is it something they've only have processed and its waiting for someone to spot that? ...usually when paying by switch if i check my bank balance , i will have a certain amount of 'bank balance' but within my 'available balance' the monies will already be lower even though the transaction has not been taken from my account yet

i have no idea why a company would take so long.......we asked Deep Pan and they had no explanation.....

personally my business only ever delayed processing a payment if there were discrepancies over the order or we were waiting for confirmation of a price......otherwise we always put them through immediately.
