...there's a pending transaction of about £150 how would that have happened? I phoned the cc company and they say it is too early to see where the transaction came from, they saw my on-line shop one which was dated today and could even name the retailer.
I have to wait until it shows up on my account. They even said that it might not go through - what does that mean?
I try and keep a close eye on all the transactions and because we are near the end of the month I wouldn't have let a large transaction like that go through. It's definitely on my card, not dh's.

it may be from a while ago.. some retailers store them up and present them at the end of the week/month/ accounting period/when they feel like it

I only learned this about a month ago.. I thought all switch transactions were 3 working days or not at all...Blush

They are right they cant see the retailer and stuff till it clears and then you can question it ..

Hopefully it will make sense soon but I cannot for the life of me work out where I spent it! All large amounts that I can think of have been accounted for. Also how can they see today's retailer but not yesterday's?

Any other thoughts anyone?

Worked it out! It was the house insurance...it was due for renewal on 22nd March and I switched to a different insurance company BUT somehow there was a muddle up and the new insurance started now rather than last month. So the house was uninsured for a month Blush.
