Yesterday i recieved my migration letter informing me of the migration from IB to ESA. I havent recieved a medical questionaire yet. Does anyone know how long it takes from recieving the initial letter to being sent for a medical.
Also my DH is over 60. Ive seen many horrific experiences on other forums so im wondering if there is any point putting me and DH through this (i include him because obviously its part of the household income) if the Pension Credit that DH receives can be increased to replace the lost income? Thanks.

Retirement age is 65 so I assume any medical will be well before then!!

Sorry I can't help with the timing of the medical but it suggests that the first 13 weeks assessing your work capabilities.

I am 38 but my husband is over 60 and already in receipt of Pension Credit. i was just wondering if the amount he recieves can be increased rather than me ending up in the WRAG and having to do workfare which would be impossible with him in his condition.

I'm confused now! I imagine that if you want to claim anything then you need to carry on with ESA. I can't see why the pension credit would go up anyway? Best of talking to CAB tbh.
