For the purposes of the CSA, what is counted as income?

They take other income into account. My husband has to declare what he receives for a War Pension and this is included in the assessment. I think you have to add any income from things like shares and savings too. I will have a look through dh's old paperwork when I get a mo.

I think all income which is taxable

they take into account any tax credits recieved whether they are in the absent parents name or their partners.

Unless the fathers income is lower tahn the mother Ellen or something like that. cant get my head round that one tbh.

my husband and i have sorting things out with the csa since xmas. we recieved a booklet which states that tax credit for our child in my name considered as income for him. Dont know about what you said taratula as i earn less anyway.
