I was looking at the offer for flex account customers.

They are offering amongst others free legal for the purchase and free valuation survey. Do you think the legal will be ok? I will get an independant homebuyers done.

Why not ask who their nominated solicitors are? If they specialise in conveyancing they may be pretty good.

I will ask who it is when I go back. I would imagine they would use a firm who specialise in conveyancing, that doesn't mean they will be efficent and thorough.

You could ask for anything they've got on customer feedback, I suppose. Ask what the typical time to completion is. Make an appointment to meet them so you can judge. Is the house you're buying particularly unusual or likely to present any difficulties that you can think of? I don't know what conveyancing typically costs these days - several hundred? - but it's worth saving the money if you can.
