small claims - what happens now?

I have made a claim for a few hundred pounds and a judgement has been issued saying that the person must pay me back.

What happens now? Is there any enforcement of the judgement? The only thing I can see is that I may have to pay a further £100 to issue a warrant but not sure what this would achieve, given the claim is currently just under £300 and my claim has so far been ignored by the defendant.

Is that the final bit? We phoned the court they asked us to send in how a letter stating how much we wer asking back and then they would get the money from him, this would eventually involve court bailiffs I presume and the defendant would foot the bill.

Good luck.

I definitely will do. I've looked it up online and as far as I can tell, I need to pay another £100 and they will recover either via bailiffs or through salary. What I don't understand is what they will do if the defendant has left the country, which she has possibly done, although not permanently...
