I know some people may struggle to understand my general crapness with money, but I took out a loan in 2006 and not 100% sure who it was with (I know I am rubbish!). It was for 12months so cleared by 2007.

How can I find out who was with? Will it show if I pay for a credit report for myself?

It should show on a credit report & most give you one month before they start charging. If you print off a report and immediately cancel your subscription, it should cost you anything.
