Another PPI claims question

When we took out our mortgage we were told we had to take out PPI aswell, so not knowing any different, we did. We used the insurance when OH was off sick for a few months so we did actually need it. Would we still be able to make a claim for miselling even though we claimed on it? We still have the policy now but are looking elswhere for cheaper policies.

Money Saving Expert PPI Reclaiming Guide Read through the attached link and I think you'll find you have a valid claim for the reason "Were you told it was compulsory?"

Companies are refunding customers on such a wholesale, no-questions-asked basis that you should use one of the MSE templates, make the claim and let them worry about whether it's valid or not. In every case I'm familiar with, the companies have paid up rather than argue the toss.
