Did you get it directly or go through one of these claim companies?

YuleingFanjo · 06/03/2012 13:40

so can someone tell me... if my loan/card is over 6 years old does this mean I can't claim anything?

SootySweepandSue · 06/03/2012 13:41

Lucky you! Just got a copy of my Cahoot Loan agreement back but it looks like I didn't have PPISad. Damn me.

Going to write to Lloyds TSB now as something in my brain is telling me I had it on a 10 yr old credit card I got as a student. Long shot but it's worth the price of a stamp.

Piffle · 06/03/2012 13:42

I've successfully claimed on a card paying PPI in from 2000-2004

Piffle · 06/03/2012 13:42

Mine was Lloyds
FWIW

SootySweepandSue · 06/03/2012 13:42

Re the 6 year thing...I have heard that some banks are paying out past 6 years so I would give it a go.

SootySweepandSue · 06/03/2012 13:45

Letter will be in the post tonight!

Heard on the news that banks will be starting writing to customers. This is fine but by god I bet a huge proportion will go to the wrong addresses. I moved about 10x in the last 15 years. I wonder how they are going to do this.Hmm

HarryRedknappsDog · 06/03/2012 17:47

Cogito no, I just phoned them up.
Yuleing If the loan or CC account ended within the last 6 years you can still claim.
