Yes it's me again, what would they do to him?

We have been here 3 years and have rental contracts to prove it, would it affect him?

I'm not having nice thoughts about him right now!

I rent my house and don't have a btl mortgage, I do however have permission from my lender so it doesn't follow that he isn't allowed to rent.

Our mortgage company and the previous one both stated that if we were to rent out our home they would charge us an extra 2% interest a month for the priviledge, as most BTL mortgages are at a higher rate than normal mortgages (or so they told us anyway). So at the worst it might result in a rent increase for yourself, or even worse he might not get permission and have to evict you. I dont think anything good would come from you alerting the mortgage lender to your presence.

Still want bad things to happen to him.

All the mortgage details come to this address not his home.

I'm like NMP - we have a residential mortgage and let the house with no penalty on the mortgage.

You won't do yourself any favours, and under the data protection act they will not talk to you, or take any info from you about him.

I dont think anything bad would happen to him though by alerting the mortgage company to the fact that you are renting the property but you would run the risk of at the very worst eviction. It sounds a bit like cutting off your nose to spite your face tbh.
