Can you have your wages arrested if you get WFTC?

Why don't you give the tax credits people a call and ask if the wages can be arrested?

Complain to trading standards. It is an offense to imply that you have greater rights to recover money than you actually have. The only way for a catalogue to recover money is to issue county court proceedings and then, having got judgement, apply for an attachment of earnings order. Quite a long process.
