Xh gave me mobile to use (when together) which was in his name. When we split he got me 'disconnected'. It was on a contract which I thought couldn't be cancelled. Someone I know text that number by mistake and got a reply from him, saying I was no longer on that number! So I'm presuming he was able to divert all my calls to another phone or was sent a new sim card with the same number perhaps?

Surely this is a breach of my rights in someway even though the phone was in his name???? It's a nasty split and I'm presuming he is able to receive my personal calls from anyone I haven't thought to give my new number to - eg bank etc? He can pretend we are still together and get information out of some people can't he?!

Any advice??

Surely if it was all in his name then how can it be a breach of your rights? The bank wouldnt discuss anything with him anyway regardless of the phone number.
