Mortgage extension refused - but starting new job - how long to reapply

I ahve been self employed for years and just had a mortgage extension refused - however just about to take up a position as a salaried employee -- how many payslips do I need and do I need to have been in the job for a certai length of time?

I'd get hold of a good independent mortgage adviser. Different lenders have different criteria and mortgage advisers can filter out the ones that best match your needs.
