Does anyone know of an online one that actually works? Ive tried a couple but what they say we should get and what we do get are a long way apart.
We're looking at a significant change of income in the new year and are trying to work out the best thing to do.
I tried ringing the helpline but they said they only deal with actual changes and cant say what we would get based on different scenarios.
We only get child benefit and child tax credit if that matters

Are you sure the figure they're quoting you isn't just from now until April? I've been caught out by that before. The one on directgov seems ok to me.

I use this and it's always pretty accurate for me.

Thanks banana ive not tried that one

Ive tried the direct gov one several times and its always wildly optimistic, both with the actual amounts and with the different benefits it thinks we should get
