Hello mumsnetters,
I hope you don't think this is too spammy but I wanted to let you know about National Move Your Money Day which is happening on 2nd Dec and is a campaign to encourage people to move their money out of hight street banks into their local credit union. This mainly on the basis that they exist to serve their local community rather than make a profit, and don't tend to have unfair charges which is something that I'm sure at least some of you on here have been affected by if you are struggling to make ends meet and raise a family.
