Looking to remortgage but getting very confused!!! Want a repayment mortgage possibly fixed for 2/3 years with no fees!!!!! Everythign seems to have fees involved and if you incorporate the cost of those don't seem to be saving anything by remortgaging. Been watching Make it Rich and I think we must be able to save on this. Any comments????

go on moneyextra.com and do their questionnaire and it will bring up a load to choose from

personally don't like fixes .. I think you're better off with a discounted with no tie-ins (the tie-ins being the important bit)

check out what Martin Lewis has to say.

i don't think there is anything with no fees- sorry
Smile are doing a 6 month fix for no fees, but am not sure what you would do at the end of this.
There fees are fairly low- £399 IIRC but all of the others look like closer to £700 to me.
I quite like fixed rates, you know exactly what you need to find each month for the next 2 or 3 years....it could potentially go up with the discounted rates.
anyway, hth

we have used london and country for our existing mortgate after martin lewis recommended them as they don't charge a fee (brokers fee). All on the phone as I have young children and just couldn't face trying to do serious mortgage interview with children in tow. have been happy with them and will be remortgaging with them in the next couple of weeks as deal coming to an end. give plenty of notice as these things can take time and you could end up paying svr while your waiting to switch.
try googling 'london and country' as i'm sure they have no fee deals
