Anyone used Payplan?

Are they really free, and what is your experience of them. Got to sort my debts out and looking at thier website, they look good.

Looks like a good option, Payplan get recomended in several financial advice articles.

For example in this Guardian article it says "A good option is to use Payplan, a free debt counselling service set up by the National Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux. Payplan is paid for by the credit industry and there are no fees to pay, so 100 per cent of your repayments go towards reducing your debts"

Something else to look at is the National Debtline Website www.nationaldebtline.co.uk which has factsheets for download, as well as providing a Confidential and Independent helpline.
