If I sign off jobseekers will they automatically stop all my other benefits?

I have to sign off job seekers allowance tomorow (as I start Uni full time on Thursday). I will however get no money from uni until mid october. Therefore I was hoping I'd be able to live off my child tax credits still.

I'm worried that when I sign off jobseekers, my housing benefit and child tax credit will automatically stop too? I can't change things with them yet as I don't know how much I'll be getting in my bursary.

Will the child tax credit and housing benefit still get paid as normal?

You need to ring housing benefit and explain, if they are kept informed they should keep it going until you can bring/send proof of bursary. Not sure re CTC though

Ctc is independant of jsa so that definitely won't stop.

Also - assuming your bursary is tax free you don't have to declare it for tax credits so you can inform them now.
