Clothes allowance for DS?

It seems obvious for a girl, but do you give your DS a clothing allowance?

Would he just spend it on sports equipment and food?

Most of my friends have daughters his age and they all love having nice clothes and looking good.

DS couldn't give a toss so would I just be wasting time and money? He has no interest at all.

Am I better to just send him off to get clothes when we have a wedding to go to or he grows out of his stuff or should I leave it up to him?

What do you do?

It would all go on PS3 games, so I buy his clothes as he has no interest at all. I make him try them on and he has a say in cut/colour etc.
