Salary Calculator? (Hoping to Reduce Working Hours)

Hi,

I was wondering if anybody could help me. I am trying to work out how much I will be taking home per month if I reduce my week from full-time (5 days) to a 4 day week. I know it's not as simple as just taking 20% off as i'll be paying less tax and no childcare costs on the day i'm not working.

I'm rubbish with sums and %! Can anybody point me in the right direction of a good website, or onpass any advice?

Many Thanks

Do it in a few steps

  1. Run your new gross pay through something like this income tax calculator to get your new take-home
  2. Work out any change to CTC or WTC (if applicable) using this benefits checker
  3. Calculate how much less you'll pay on child-care and add that to the mix.
