exp debt

long story short.

he left the country, crediotrs know this as i have told them repeatidly.

they are now contacting neighbours for info.

the debt is not in my name.

where do i stand and is getting in contact with neighbours legal?

Please help as this has come as a bit of a shock.

CAB have been useless today.

If the debt is not in your name and you have informed the creditors that exp does not live with you, you have nothing to worry about.

Have you given a forwarding address to the creditors, or have you just told them that he's left the country?

Do you know exactly what they've asked/told the neighbours?
