A few weeks ago I ordered an item from a well known mail order company.
It didn;t turn up with the other things I ordered at the same time. I queried this and was told that the item was probably lost so they would send another.
As we were going to be away I rang again to ask them to deliver to a different address.
When we returned they had delivered three of the items. The original one, the replacement to my address, and a replacement to the other address.
I have rung the company twice to ask them to arrange collection of the unwanted items, and each time have been informed a courier would contact me, which they haven't.
They have not billed me for the extra items.
Does anyone know, have I given them sufficient notice etc to collect the items, so can I now assume that I can use / dispose of them, or should I put something in writing?
I am thinking I will keep quiet now, having rung them twice.
