Child benefit not received since 7th March

I've given up on the helpdesk and they don't answer so I have submitted a query on email. But has anyone experienced this? No kids have reached 16 or moved in with anyone else. Very baffling.

I got an email back telling me they would contact me within 4 weeks ......glad I didn't carry on waiting on the phone.

I had this happen to me, make sure you write to them, send letter recorded delivery and keep copies. They do take a while to respond but you will get their eventually. Act fast though, they claim to only be able to back date payments by 3 months! Nice little money saver for the government stopping CB payments.

This happened to my aunty and when she contacted them they told her she was dead

Do you work or are known under a different surname from that which you claim CB under, or are you or DH / DP higher rate tax payers?

It was because I hadn't informed them we'd moved house. Oops! Weird thing was that I contacted them via email and when I rang a week later they had no record of my email

Money should be in my account in 5 working days. We'll see...
