I've given up on the helpdesk and they don't answer so I have submitted a query on email. But has anyone experienced this? No kids have reached 16 or moved in with anyone else. Very baffling.

I had this happen to me, make sure you write to them, send letter recorded delivery and keep copies. They do take a while to respond but you will get their eventually. Act fast though, they claim to only be able to back date payments by 3 months! Nice little money saver for the government stopping CB payments. Angry

Wow! Really cotswold ? Shock

That's fairly crap.

This happened to my aunty and when she contacted them they told her she was dead Shock

LadyLapsang · 15/05/2011 18:39

Do you work or are known under a different surname from that which you claim CB under, or are you or DH / DP higher rate tax payers?

Ormirian · 15/05/2011 19:49

Thanks folks.

It was because I hadn't informed them we'd moved house. Oops! Weird thing was that I contacted them via email and when I rang a week later they had no record of my email Hmm

Money should be in my account in 5 working days. We'll see...
